Kevin is 26

I love this kid.....I love being his mom!  I can't believe he is 26.  The years go by so fast.  Kevin has been a joy.  I have enjoyed watching him grow up to who he is today.  Kevin is also a smart kid.  He graduated quick and is now teaching School at Roy Jr High and coaching their Football Team...(his dream)  I am so proud of him.  Kevin is a good daddy.  He adapted to that role easily.  He was always good with kids.  Kevin is also a good hubby.  I know he tries to please Julie and help her out as much as possible.  He has always been a great son and made good choices.

So Happy Kevin was born to Larry and I...he is such a great addition to our family!

Thursday

Kari's Birthday!

Kari is the Birthday Girl this month...in fact yesterday was her birthday.  I am exactly one month older than this cute gal!  We decided to go to Mimi's since Kari has never been there.  Again it's so much about the food as it is the company and fun.  I love these ladies and laugh so hard every time we get together.  We have secrets.
I found these big lips yesterday and couldn't resist.  It's crazy (or I am) but I keep my eyes out for silly things to make the get together a little different and fun.  These totally cracked me up!  I remembered I had a few eyes in my purse left over from Vegas and so I got a pair out and the laughter just increased! Don't give me any lip! hahaha
I was thinking about our big lips on the way to the restaurant and thought of Goldie Locks....strange I know...."the better to kiss you with my dear".  Okay so it might be me that's a little crazy...but crazy is fun right?
I really have decided to enjoy life and make it fun for others too.  Don't get me wrong I have always enjoyed life but I use to let things & people get to me and get me down....my choice I know.  I try not to do that now...it still happens but not for as long or often because I don't let it.
If I can help others enjoy life just a little more then I think that is good.  I believe that is my "gift" and since I believe that I'd better use it.  Haha....I just thought: what happens when I get to Heaven and find out I was totally wrong.  While I was busy having fun I totally missed my real gift! I hope if I have more I will recognize them too.  I'm having a good time right in the middle of a lot of sad and hard times.  I get sad and I feel bad but I still try to find the joy that is there among it all!  Celebrating Life!

Saturday

Mr & Mrs Smith

I normally don't write about my nieces or nephews weddings because usually I am not as involved in their lives.  Shannon has always involved Larry and I in her life.  She has also been close to a few of our kids and so I am including this wedding of hers in my book.

I have always enjoyed this girl.  She's fun and smart and strong. Shannon is a go getter.  She knows what she wants in life and goes for it.  She's an achiever.  I admire Shannon so much.

Shannon asked me to be her escort today in the Temple since her mom couldn't....I was honored.  It made me think back to the time I got to sit by Scott when him and Erin were married.  It's an honor to sit by the bride or groom ... a proud moment.  I have enjoyed this opportunity with these two as well as my own kids.  I cherish each memory!

As I thought back over the years of Shannon I remembered I spoke at her baptism.  That too was an honor and privilege and makes me feel good that she has always included me in her life.  Shannon has always included Larry as well.  Larry has been the one she has turned to for spiritual matters.  Many times Shannon has come to our house for a blessing.  I know it means so much to Larry.  Shannon has a lot of faith.

Today was a happy and wonderful day.  Shannon and Jacob were sealed for time and all eternity in the House of the Lord. (the Draper Temple)  Jacob's mission president sealed them and the spirit was strong and wonderful.  I loved helping Shannon into her gorgeous wedding dress....special time being with the brides. So fun helping them get all pretty to greet their families and friends.  Watching Shannon and Jacob look at each other was awesome....the love between these two radiates.

I'm so glad that they were brought together.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for them.  These two are awesome and a great example to those around them.
Instead of a reception they had a nice dinner and program.  It made for a long day but it was fun just relaxing with them and watching them enjoy their day.  I was thrilled that my older kids were all able to help them celebrate.

Days like this make everything so clear....then we wake up to confusion again.

Friday

In Honor of Jaydan

I love that Julie likes to party and is always thinking of others.  Since most of the family wasn't able to be at Jaydan's Graduation and we didn't really plan anything at the time, Julie thought it would be a nice thing to do.  She got us together tonight for a Surprise Dinner for Jaydan.  He was surprised and it was fun. We went to Lucky China.  That is the place to go with a big group.  You get a lot of food for a great price.  I didn't get Gramps, Larry, Sam Horrocks or me in the picture but we were there too...so was Kam. (she must be behind someone)

I love celebrating my kids and their success's. I'm so proud of each of them and all that they accomplish.  It's fun to watch the direction they choose.  I just might add.....I have great kids!

Happy Birthday Trichelle

I LOVE this day....August 23.  This is the day that my dreams came true and I became a mommy to this Beautiful Girl!  What a blessing Trichelle has been to me in my life.  I have enjoyed her so much and have always learned so much from her.  She has been patient with me as I have learned to be a mommy.  We have always been good friends and have been able to share most things with each other.
I enjoy spending time with Trichelle.  Trichelle is smart and funny and witty and caring and patient and creative and beautiful (inside and out) and absolutely wonderful.  I love being Trichelle's mommy.  I love that she has always liked hanging out with me and the family.  I admire this girl and the strength that she has.

I'm so glad that she was born to me.  I have always been so proud of her...what a blessing she is to me and our entire family.  She's a wonderful first child.
It's hard to believe that Trichelle is older than I feel.  It's a strange thing about life.  Our bodies get older but our spirits reach an age and stop!  I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with these cute girl of mine.  I love her so much!

Not a Volleyball

I was talking to Robin today after our walk around the block.  Funny that we don't say everything in those 3 miles.  Anyway I noticed something in the branches of our tree out front.  At first I thought it was a volleyball...I didn't have my contact in yet.  I mentioned to Robin and when we looked closer I could tell it was a wasp nest....a HUGE wasp nest!  I saw a few wasps flying in and out of the little hole.  It's  a pretty cool nest but will no longer be in service as of Monday.  The Pest Control guy is coming to spray our house and will be taking care of this place too.  I am very interested in seeing the nest up close....it looks like it is wrapped in paper.

Thursday

Surprise

Oh my heck....I must have done something good at Nationals!  I received a check from the Women's Championships.  It was for our team bowling....Debbie and I must have been okay.  I surely didn't ever expect to get anything back. So I think it's cool!

Tuesday

Shirley's Birthday

Our excuse for going out tonight was to celebrate Shirley's Birthday.  It's always a good excuse and for some reason it helps make the night happen.  Shirley's birthday is on Sunday but since Kathy and I have been wanting to get together with Shirley and it took us a few weeks to get a date....it worked out great!

We saw the Adairs there too celebrating Ashley's 21st birthday.  Birthdays are so great and should be celebrated and fun.

I just have to say that I laughed so hard tonight.....all the laughing had to be good for my tummy muscles...Holy Moly.....Good Times!

I am very blessed to have such wonderful neighbors. My whole street has only good and wonderful people living on it and we are all friends.  It's been fun growing up with these ladies and raising parts of our families together.

I always thank Heavenly Father for putting such great people in my life.  I am "needy" in that way and I feel His love and recognize His blessings!

Grand Son's

I had fun with my grandson's today.  Holy Crud they are so stinkin cute and fun.  These two littles love each other so much and play so good together.  Since I was going to watch Zaden and Parker was going to come later I decided to pick them both up so they had more together time.

Being a gramma is like ...... the best calling ever!  The little ones love seeing you and even get excited when they get to come play at your house.  They run and jump into my arms for hugs and squeezes. (I like that a lot)  They call me "Princess" and "Beautiful" and "Fun".  They truly do something different to my heart....it's such a great feeling!

I enjoyed having the boys over for some boy time while their sisters and cousin were involved with "school stuff".  I hope they always enjoy each other as much as they do now.  They are go great!  I'm so glad it's me they call Gramma!  I'm the lucky one!

Just 4 more of these ;)

I can't believe that school has started again.  What in the heck happened to summer....where did it go?

The nice thing about school starting again is that it means another school year will be behind us again soon.  My kids enjoy going to school for which I am glad but for us all it is added stress that I would rather not have.  It's part of life though so I just need to buck up and be happy that they are getting so smart.  I'm glad for all the learning....that's the part I like.  It's all the "I don't get it's" that frustrates me.  Truthfully it's all the homework.....hopefully this year there won't be as much.

I hope these two do enjoy this time in their lives.  I hope they love getting smarter and gaining more knowledge. I hope they make new friends that they will enjoy for a long time.  I hope that they will believe in themselves.  I hope that they will work hard, do their best and have fun.  I hope they will make good memories to share with their kids.  I hope they realize how wonderful and smart they really are!  I hope they know that this mommy loves them and believes in them!

Sunday

Fudge Chewies........

Oh my heck....I love these yummy bars of goodness.....so much in fact I am sharing the recipe....we should share good things right?

Melt: 2 cubes of butter or margarine (don't worry about calories...you'll miss out"
add:  1 cup brown sugar, and 1 cup sugar (no prejudice here)
stir in: 2 tsp vanilla, 2 beaten eggs (I beat them as I stir them in)
add:  2 tsp baking soda....stir then add, 2 cups flour and 3 cups oatmeal. (I believe that qualifies these as healthy)
keep this bowl close by but get out another one that will be ok in the microwave.

In the other bowl....melt in the microwave for about 3 minutes
1 cube of butter or margarine (quit counting), 1 can sweet & condensed milk, 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (sometimes I just use the whole bag) and 1 TBL vanilla.  Stir until creamy.  (I call licking this spoon)

Pat 1/2 of the oatmeal mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan.  Pour the fudge on top and then drop the rest of the oatmeal mixture on top of that.  (I clean my hands and pat it and lay it on top).

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes (when the top is "lightly" browned)  ENJOY!!!

(My recipe card has 3 dancing skeletons on it....haha☻ I guess so we think skinny and not worry about the calories)

Wednesday

Mud....the kids & hubs love it......me~not so much!

For Young Men/Young Women's tonight they played in the mud.  Jaydan also loves the mud and since it was in our field he asked if he could join.  My kids were so excited to play in the mud.
They "geared" up with clothes that they didn't mind saying good bye to.  Jared borrowed his clothes from Jaydan...so I guess Jaydan was ok with saying good bye to a few things.  Actually....I am pretty good at laundry and so I go everything pretty clean except the white shirt.

The kids had so much fun Kimi invited more kids to come over the next night and do it again.  Jared had such a blast that he declined the invite to play water volleyball with Julie and Kevin.
There is a reason I don't play in the mud.  It's because I am the one that has to clean it up...so I just say "NO".  I guess even if my family cleaned their own clothes they would still play in the mud because they wouldn't care if they had to wash things a few times which happened by the way.
I just avoid more work for me if possible.  I could have played in the mud with everyone since I had clean up duties anyway but I still prefer to just stay clean.
When I was younger I didn't like messing up my make-up or hair once it was done.....I still tend to be that way just not to the extreme that I use to be.

I am probably missing out....or so some say.  I don't necessarily agree.  I don't feel like I have to experience  everything in my life to know if I would like it or not.  Heck....there are some things I am pretty sure I would like but know better than to try....mud has nothing to do with those things.
My family had fun and for that I am glad.  I love hearing them express themselves with enthusiasm and I really enjoy the muddy pictures that some of the leaders took.  That alone without me being in the mud makes me smile.

Who knows maybe when I turn 60 I will invite my friends for a game of mud football....or duck, duck, goose in the mud.  Makes me laugh just thinking about it....so maybe just maybe that will be how I celebrate turning 60.....I just might even include a few cans of "shaving cream"! (I reacted badly to shaving cream once....not a bad reaction....acted bad)

Registered and Ready for School

Yesterday Kimi registered for School but I didn't get a picture of her. (I was in SLC) Today Jared registered for School and since I went with him I did get a picture.  Actually he was in and out of registering so fast that we went to breakfast and that's were I got a picture.  We needed to pass a little time before we headed down to SLC for testing.  Jared and I have been going to SLC the last few days and spending about 3 hours while he is tested.  I have always felt that Jared has ADD or ADHD. Jared's mind is always so busy and I remember saying when he was just a toddler that I didn't believe it stopped until he fell asleep at night....who knows about then.

I talked to the school about it when Jared was in 2nd grade but his teacher was sure that since Jared is well behaved and her son who is very different from Jared had ADD that Jared didn't.   I filled out a bunch of papers but I guess his teacher didn't.  So....we just dealt with him struggling a little more than I think he should have in school.  I believe Jared just gets distracted and has a harder time concentrating than the average kid.  He's a smart boy but has struggled off and on.  Junior High has been a real struggle....the teachers no longer have the time for individual care and attention.  Jared's grades proved that and it was affecting him in a negative way.  The good thing about his struggles though is it forced me to get help.  I didn't know where to go for the help.  I thought the school did those kind of testing....they do but to really get the individual help Jared needed his school required professional testing.  YeeHaw....that kind of testing is expensive....really expensive and our wonderful insurance pays for none of it. (I'm no fond of insurance)  But....we were blessed and through many steps and tender mercies we were led to the U of U were students do the testing for a small price of $175.  Jared was even bumped up the list so his testing was done about 6 months earlier than it should have been.

I know this is happening for a reason....I hope it will help Jared to feel better about himself.  Just saying that makes me think of the saying: "If only others could see themselves as we do...or better yet as Jesus does".  Grades are important but not nearly as important as Jared's self worth.  I wish society didn't put so much pressure on these things.  We are all so different and very smart kids and people sometimes just learn different than the stereo type.

The good thing is that Jared went to testing each day with a great attitude and he left with a great attitude too.  I am very pleased with him for toughing this out.  I hope that there will be help for him when the tests results come back....if not at least he will know he is capable of doing whatever it is he is expected to do.

Cheers!  I'm hoping for and expecting a better school year than last.  I learned from all that we experienced but I do not want to experience any of it again.  I wish it on no one!

Tuesday

A Day to be Celebrated and Remembered

It was on this day two years ago that Jared was found alive and well....it was also on this day eight years ago that a young lady lost her life.  We never know when it is our time or the time of someone we love to return to our Heavenly Parents.  So because of this day and the feelings that I experienced while Jared was missing I Celebrate Life.  Some things aren't as important as I once thought....other things are much more important.

Our whole family experienced so much love and care those two days.  I will never forget all the prayers in our behalf.  I will never forget the people that came to my house to comfort and support and to bless me.  I will never forget Larry saying that when he was ready to give up from exhaustion he would "magically" receive a text of encouragement and love. I will never forget all the people that showed up to search for Jared....many of whom we did not know.  I will never forget seeing trucks stocked with food and water just in case it took longer than it did.  I will never forget the love shown to Jared and our family when we returned home.  I will never forget the personal experience I had with God just hours before I saw Jared again.  I will never forget knowing that Julia (the gal that lost her life 8 years ago) was there among many other unseen "Angels".  I didn't even know Julia in this life but I do now.....she's close by at times and I know it.
I learned many lessons about life on this day....for that I will always be thankful that the experience happened to us. (I notice that is true with all the unpleasant experiences I have had...after they are over I am grateful for what  I have learned)

A Chocolate Memory of Mine............

Larry knows that I love Chocolate...and giving it to me is a good thing to do.  One year for Mother's Day I was pleasantly surprised with Chocolate all throughout the day.  Larry had all different kinds of Chocolate strategically hidden for me to find as I went about my business.  It was so much fun and exciting every time I came across more chocolate.  By the end of the day I had enough to last for me for a month or more.  What a Guy.....What a Memory!

My Buddy

Luke is my little birthday buddy.....we share the same birthday!  This year we were camping when Luke had his party and we didn't make it to his party.  We had got him a water coloring pad and paints and some cute colored pencils.  I finally took them to him last night and this morning I had received a text with this cute picture that Luke had done! Dang I love this kid and I think his picture is fabulous! The best part of the night was when Luke came out to my car with his arms wide open for a hug.....I sure do love hugs and love getting them from my little grands and my little friends.  Made my Night!

Monday

It's been a while!

I haven't held a little one this small in my arms for quite some time.  Oh how I have missed it.  I am so excited for Justin and Natalie's little one to fill my arms in January.  Babies are such blessings...this little one Kim's grand.  Precious!

Sunday

Bows & Arrows

I love Sundays and I love when the cute grands come running in with their bows and arrows.  Mya and Parker love shooting their bows & arrows just like their daddy and I'm pretty sure that makes their daddy pretty happy....it makes this gramma happy!  It's so fun for me watching these little's grow up.
I love watching their little personalities develop...it makes me very aware of my heart.  I love watching my kids continue to grow and enjoy life too.  Sundays are my favorite because it means family will be coming over....at least part of them and every other week all of them.
'
I've always had a thing for little kids....they have always been able to melt my heart.  It's a whole different feeling though when the little ones belong to you....can't even be described, it's so good!

Oh Happy Happy Heart!

Saturday

One of My Favorite Things!

Oh my heck I love getting pedicures!  I love that people are willing to rub my feet and clip my nails and lotion my legs and feet and polish my toenails.  I don't mind paying someone to do these things because I absolutely love, love, love it!  It's so much better having someone else do those things to my feet than doing it myself...it just feels better and the end result is that it looks better also.

I also love the massage chairs I get to enjoy while having my feet pampered. I usually start out with a knot in my lower back but by the time I leave it is gone.

Ahhhhh.....I LOVE Pedicures!

When YOU think you need some
pampering......make it happen!!!

Jaydan Graduated!!

Tonight Jaydan Graduated from The School of Massage Therapy!  I am so proud of Jaydan.  He decided in High School that this is what he wanted to do.  When he got home from his mission he got busy and checked into what he had to do to get in the program.  Jaydan went right to work and worked hard.  He went to school at nights and on Saturdays.  He didn't have much time to play but I didn't hear him complain.  I enjoyed knowing that he was up in his room studying.  He had to know lots about the human anatomy and so he studied hard.  Jaydan always did really well on his tests and was only 2 points from having an A on every single one.  His mission helped him learn to study and it has paid off now.

I believe in Jaydan.  He will succeed in this new career because Jaydan believes in himself.

It's so fun watching my kids press on and work hard to accomplish their dreams.  It makes this mommy very proud!  Way to Go Jaydan!!!

Wednesday

Road Trip to Vegas.....Yippee!!!

For my birthday Larry was very thoughtful and made arrangements with Julie for me to come spend time with her.  I haven't seen Julie for over three years and have really been wanting too. I was impressed that Larry remembered and gave me that "gift" for my birthday. (what a guy...love him!)

He was planning on having me fly but it was my idea to drive.  I have never drove that far alone in my life and really wanted to.  I felt confident, independent and powerful.  I would be conquering a fear and it felt good.  I left after church on the 4th and started my adventure.  Just me, a few CD's (including the Conference Talks) and my stuff.  I felt so good....so big!

I only went to Jerry and Darinda's (in Silver Reef...close to St George) since Julie wouldn't be home until late and I didn't want to drive in the dark when I didn't know where I was going.  Jerry & Darinda are so nice to let me stay at their nice house.  It was fun driving up to it and knowing it would be my room for the night.
I microwaved some corn on the cob for dinner.  It was good.  I was so pleased that I had made it this far and knew that in the morning I would be seeing my sweet friend Julie.  I was like a little kid waiting for Christmas.  I went in a bedroom and got my bed ready and guess what?  Fear hit me!  I knew I was alone in this BIG house but my mind started playing stupid games and .... well I got a little scared. Funny thing is....there weren't any strange noises...the house was completely quiet.  I had no reason to be scared and I knew it.  I said a prayer and cuddled up in my blanket and went to sleep.  (who took that picture?)
In the morning I hurried and got ready to continue on my adventure.  I had the other piece of corn I had brought for breakfast.  I'm not sure why I didn't eat my normal...chocolate for breakfast but I didn't...the corn was so good I guess I wanted the other cob.  I loaded my car, locked the house, set the GPS and was on my way.  I have to say that "Miss Navi Gator" did a great job getting me to Julie's.
The last time I used her she got me lost and I wasn't sure she could be trusted but I was totally relying on her...well maybe not totally....since I had printed instructions from the computer but when it came down to it I listened to Navi and ended up at Julies.

Julie and I visited and then we went and met another friend of mine from High School for lunch. Deanne lives in Julie's ward and they are good friends too.  What a small world.  It was fun visiting with Deanne in person.  I see her daily on FB but real life was nice.  I invited Tashina to join us too and I'm glad she did.  She's a cute girl....just a month older that Kimleighel.
I like to be silly and so I made some silly eyes for some silly pictures.  It's funny to me that when a few people get silly others want to join in the fun.  This day it was Robert the manager of Mimi's.  He wanted some silly eyes too and wore them on his glasses.  We had a great time!  I am so thankful for friends...and silly times!  Dirk got home from a 50 miler with the scouts and so we all went to dinner. Julie and I visited until Dirk put a movie in and we watched that.  It was a very fun day.....what every little (and big) girl could every hope for.
On Tuesday Julie and I decided to go to the Temple.  While I was at Church on Sunday I had the impression to take my Temple Clothes.  I even remembered when I got home and so I suggested going to the Temple to Julie.  I know Julie loves going to the Temple and she was all for it.  I love the feeling in the Temple.  I love the tingles I get while I am there.  I love feeling and knowing that Heavenly Father loves me.  It was a good choice and a great start to our day. We heard there is a "New Movie" but we didn't see it since we had a gal that didn't speak English in our session and the "New Movie" doesn't have it translated yet.  So now I want to go again to see the "New Movie".

We had lunch after and then went back to Julie's to change and get Tashina.  We went to a place that reminded me of the Farmington Station.  You enter the stores from the outside.  The main reason for going there was so Julie could pick up the I Pad she had ordered.  I took mine with me too so I could get it updated.  The Apple Store was closed for remodeling and so none of that happened.  Julie spent a lot of time on the phone to them and will end up getting a cover for her I Pad for free....worth the wait.  I don't think Julie is much of a shopper either because neither of us really cared where we went.  We did go in a Bath and Body Works Store however and I realized when Julie asked me what fragrance I liked that it has been awhile since I have had their lotion....I didn't recognize any of the fragrances.  I ended up buying a few.  The first one I chose was a new fragrance called "Sexy" and I chose it so I could say "I have my Sexy on".  It smells good too.  Oh....Dirk found us at Bath and Body and so he hung out with us until we left.

I like how spontaneous Dirk is.  We got home and he asked if we would like to go to a dinner show. Julie convinced him to also come and so off we went to a dinner show called "Marriage can be Murder".  It was the kind you try to detect who is the killer and their motive.  I was very entertained and laughed a lot but I had NO idea who was killing the guests.  I thought the table right behind me had something to do with it and at the end I found out they had everything to do with it.  The gal right behind me was the killer.  I even talked to her when she asked me how I would kill someone...she was surprised when I said with my bare hands!  I stink at detective work and realize it is not a profession I should ever consider.   It was really fun though regardless if I was totally wrong and clueless.
The dinner show was right by Fremont Street and so we wondered it.  My how that street has changed since I was there last.  People are dressed up all up and down the street hoping to get paid to have a picture with them.  Some of the people had very little on and I wasn't impressed.  The over head light show is pretty cool though.  It was fun and a great way to end a wonderful day!
I love my Julie friend.  Tashina asked her mom how we met and Julie told her that I had been her visiting teacher.  Funny how you can grow such great friendships by doing your visiting teaching!  I bet that is one of the main reasons for visiting teaching.....I love the friends I have made by doing my visiting teaching.  Julie is such a blessing in my life.  She is such a great example of faith to me.  She loves her Heavenly Father and trusts Him and praises Him continually.  I always desire to try a little harder and to be a little better after being around Julie.  She inspires me!  I am so thankful that Larry was so thoughtful in giving me time with Julie for my birthday!  I loved every second of it!

Dirk got me headed in the right direction to go home on Wednesday morning and I was off.
Nanette lives around St George and she suggested we meet for lunch.  I wasn't in a hurry and so I met her for lunch.  I never hung out with Nanette but I do believe we were in band together so we did know each other in school.  It's funny how it doesn't matter to me at this point in my life what choices we made or the direction we took to get us to where we are now.  I appreciate what everyone has gone through to get them to where they are at.  Nanette has made some great progress and is a very happy lady doing good things.  I love her and I'm so glad we were able to meet for an hour or so.
This was a very fulfilling few days.  I listened to good talks and music, visited with great people and got closer to my Heavenly Father.  How blessed I am!

Friday

Bruno Mars.......Live.....Really!

When I heard that Bruno Mars was coming to SLC I really wanted to go.  I really like his music and he's pretty cute too.  Well....my sweet Trichelle knew that I would love to go to his concert and so she got me and her tickets to it for my birthday.  The other kids went in on it and so I got to SEE Bruno Mars in concert.  Such a great birthday!  I felt like a kid again going to a concert.  Ummmm.....I like Bruno even better now.....and his band....man they were energetic and very entertaining and great!  We were not disappointed to say the least.  Great Concert....Great Fun!

Trichelle took me out for dinner first and we had sushi.  There just aren't many people I know that enjoy sushi and Trichelle is the one that introduced me to it so it was appropriate that we should eat sushi.  It was such a nice evening with my daughter.

We danced, we laughed, we went coo coo eyes, we whistled and hollered, we clapped and tapped our feet, we had a great time.  I was glad Trichelle grabbed her glasses on the way out the door...they helped us both to see better. :) When the concert was over and Bruno was done we went looking for my car.  We were so excited to get a great parking spot that neither of us really paid that close of attention to where we actually did park.  Trichelle had a better idea than me but still we weren't sure.  We walked around the parking lot and I giggled at others who had also lost their cars.  It was all fine though and as the parking lot cleared a bit we were able to find my car.  Alarms were going off as others searched for their cars but when I tried my alarm I couldn't get it to go off.  It was a good way to pass a little time while everyone left.  It didn't really take us that long...maybe 15 minutes or so which I thought was good considering it "might" take me that long sometimes in smaller parking lots.

Fun.....Fun.....Fun!
