My Sister/Friend

Yesterday while I was doing things I felt impressed to call Tonya and see what she was doing for Spring Break and asked if she had any time to get together.  She told me that she could Today and I was thrilled when she mentioned going to the Temple together.  I hadn't told her but I was going to make sure I went today anyway.  It was awesome spending time in the Temple with my sweet Tonya!  We were in room number 1 and it's my favorite.  The sun was shining through the stain glass windows and was simply glorious!  They put shades down to darken the room for the movie and I was hoping they would raise them again before we left but that didn't happen.  We visited in the Celestial Room for quite awhile.  I love just sitting in the Temple and feeling the spirit and feeling the love that is so strong there.  I love, love, love the Temple.  It's my season in life that I get to go.
We walked over to the Blue Lemon after and enjoyed a yummy lunch and good conversation.  I love when you get to visit with someone and you count on the Holy Ghost to enlighten your thoughts.  Tonya and I always have those kind of visits.  We share, listen and inspire each other.  It's so nice having someone to do that with.  I love my sister/friend.  Tonya was also with me on the top bunk that day Susan received her priesthood blessing.  We have grown up together and are going to grow old together.  Tonya is such a wonderful person in every way.  She's honest, caring, talented, nice, direct, compassionate, and loving in every way.  She certainly is a blessing to me and my family!

A Recipe

This Month I want to share a really easy but really yummy Chicken/Pasta Dish.

You need 3-4 chicken breasts cooked and cubed, 2-14 oz cans of Italian Diced Tomatoes, 1 envelope of Lipton Savory Herb & Garlic Soup mix, Bow Tie pasta and shredded Parmesan Cheese.

Mix soup mix and tomatoes and cooked chicken and heat all the way through.   Cook bow tie pasta according to package. Mix it all together and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese!
Lemon Desert

1 1/2 cubes margarine, 1 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 cups chopped nuts, 1-8 oz softened cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1-12 oz cool whip (save some for topping), 1-6 oz pk instant lemon pudding, and 3 cups milk.

Blend margarine, flour, and nuts with pastry blender or forks and pat firmly in a 9x13 pan.
Bake 15 minute at 350....cool

Mix: cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip and spread over the cooled crust.  Refrigerate.

Mix lemon pudding and milk and spread over the cream cheese layer.  Let set for 2 hours.  Put left over cool whip on top and Enjoy!

About Me

When I was young my favorite toy was always a baby doll.  The very first doll I remember getting was a Pebble's doll.  I remember asking Santa for a doll and I told him I didn't care what kind except probably that it should be a baby doll.  It was a cute doll and Tonya always liked it too. (she told me that just this year)

I loved playing house and being a mommy.  That's all I ever wanted to be when I grew up and I got a lot of practice from the time I was very small.  I remember dragging my stuffed dog and taking my dolls to Tonya's house.  I loved her doll.  It was life size and felt and looked like a real baby.  We spent hours playing dolls.

I remember playing in the top of our garage.  We moved things around and created a little house so we could take care of our "children".  I know I had many dolls throughout my childhood.
I remember having these two dolls as well.  Oh how I loved my baby dolls and being the mommy!
