Instead of camping with the Taylor's this year, we just took a little drive and went and visited with them. They are camping up North Fork where they like to go over Memorial Day Weekend. It was relaxing sitting around the fire and visiting with them. I love this family. I love the mountains. I love seeing the deer cross the roads while we drive in the mountains. I love the quiet and peace the fresh air offers. It was nice.
Before going to the Taylor camp, we stopped by Rachel's to give her a paper from the shop and to see her cute baby. Rachel and Craig weren't home but we found them at their neighbors house. Jared knew the red truck was Rachel's and then he noticed her standing out in the front yard. Rachel and her baby are doing good and her little one is so darling. I'm glad we decided to go for our little drive this evening.

Celebrating Tonya
I was finally able to take Tonya to lunch today to celebrate her birthday which was last Saturday. Tonya works at Weber High and life is crazy the last week of school. Crud, life is just crazy all the time and it took us this long to get a day we both were free. I love this sister/friend of mine. She truly has been such a wonderful blessing in my life. She's been my friend longer than anyone else. We met in elementary school and have been family ever since. I learn so much from Tonya and respect her in so many ways. God knew we needed each other in this life. What a blessing Tonya has been to me and my family and I know she feels exactly the same way.
We went to LaFerrovia and enjoyed a nice visit and lunch. Tonya invited me to her cabin and I can't wait to go see it with her. I might need to use it so I can get the book done I am trying to write about Jared's adventure. I have too many distractions at home. I hope we can plan more time together this summer. Kimleighel loves her Aunt Tonya and asks quite often if we can go visit her. We all love Tonya and her family. I feel so blessed to have them all in our lives!

Baby Loves
Lynette and I had the same idea again today. We ended up at the Hospital exactly at the same time. Thank goodness there are two babies to love on. ☺ We took turn holding each baby. The twins are doing really good and will be coming home soon. I learned how to pace a baby while feeding it as I watched the nurse feed little Briggs today. Brynlie used the feeding tube for this feeding since she wasn't interested at all about waking up to eat. Briggs chomped his bottle down in seven minutes. These little ones and all little's are absolute miracles. I'm so thankful and in love with these babies. There really isn't anything in this world better than a new born baby fresh from Heaven.
I enjoyed visiting with Lynette. I'm so thankful my kids have married into such wonderful families. I'm thankful for the wonderful nurses that care for our twins. They are so good and caring. Life is pretty darn wonderful! Busy....But Wonderful!

Food 4 Thought Friday
Food 4 Thought Friday

Breakfast ~ What is the best thing you cook or bake? haha...that's a hard one since I don't like to cook. My family and the Ropelato extended family likes my Pasta Salad. My family likes my Shepherds Pie, Stromboli, Lasagna, Meatloaf and Roasts. I like baking much more than cooking and make yummy cookies and fudge chewies. I also make a really good cheese cake.
Lunch ~ If you had to become a teacher of only one thing, what would you teach? The importance and power of positive thinking. I wish I would have learned it earlier.
Dinner ~ Where do you blog from? PC or laptop? Describe your surroundings. I blog from my PC that is in my room. There is a huge basket full of Larry's stuffed toys to the left of me and my bed behind me. The printer is to the right and there are always papers of mine there. Right now it's the binder with the stories from Jared's adventure on it.
Midnight Snack ~ Out of these three items, which would you NOT want to give up and why? *Dishwasher *Microwave *Vacuum? I'd say vacuum even though I don't use it as often as I should. In the long run I would miss it most. I don't mind washing dishes and I can heat things up on the stove.
Recipe for the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for the week?) Be Thankful and say Thank You! We are so very blessed!
