Today there were just three of us that showed up for game day. The numbers don't matter because we always have a great time. Lorrilee taught us a new game. The Game is called Golf. She was the Lucky Duck today too. I was the biggest loser but had a great time.
Carla and I went with Kimleighel to see Finding Dory afterwards. It was a cute show. Fun Day!

Father's Day
We had Stake Conference this morning. It was a great way to start off this Father's Day. We went to the Tabernacle since we had a general authority. It was Fabulous. I really enjoy our conferences.

We had everyone over for dinner. I sure do like having everyone over. The kids all brought something to go with the pasta and caprese. It was all very yummy! I like the dads in our family. All are such good guys and fun. I miss my dad but felt him close. Yes, Justin is missing a tooth and likes his picture taken without his retainer that has a temporary tooth on it. He cracks me up and makes me laugh so hard. He has good self esteem! I am so thankful for these guys. They all work so hard and enjoy spending time with their families.
I love all the grands they have brought into this world. They make our life so much better and tons more fun. I look forward to getting more.Larry had a great time with the kids and grands. It was fun watching him interact with them all. I sure am glad this guy is mine forever. He is such a fun loving guy. Larry works hard and has made time to play hard as well. I think that is why our family is close. We have done a lot of things together over the years. I really appreciate all that he does for each of us.
It's fun seeing generations come to be. Kevin wanted a four generation picture. Little Briggs is named after his great gramps. Briggs Mario after Mario Joe. I love that!

Saturday
Great Saturday
I went to visit my cute friend this morning. She has been on my mind and I've missed her. It was fun chatting with her for a bit. Cindy mentioned something that gave me tingles. We were talking about the book I'm writing of our ripples from Jared's adventure. I think I know one of the reasons I feel this book needs to be written. Thanks Cindy for being in tune! We mentioned how we like pictures of our friends and how we have gotten pretty good at selfie's. We didn't get a picture and so I found a few of us together. I know we have a few more but couldn't find them right off. I love this girl!
I ordered food from LaFerrovia for Father's Day and Jared and Larry could barely fit it in the truck with them. They made me laugh out loud!
I went to Kylie's baby shower and let's just say this baby is already spoiled and loved so much. It was fun seeing the excitement of the grandma's. It was fun seeing Kylie buried in presents. Everything was darling and so many people came to support our sweet friends. Babies are such blessings! We had our adult session of our Stake Conference tonight and it was so wonderful. Elder Peter Evans came and shared his thoughts and testimony with us. I love this man! His spirit is huge and his presentation was fun. I could have stayed and listened longer. Larry and Justin had the opportunity of taking the tire from the car he was driving and fixing a flat. It was an honor for them to be able to help. He was very appreciative.
The Ogden Mission President and his wife came and spoke too. The Jaggi's have great spirits and I loved how they both smiled most of the time.
A few members from our stake also spoke and each did a fabulous job. Karen Shaw was one of them and she talked about prayer and how powerful it is. A brother from our ward spoke on service as he shared his experience of having a special needs child.
The meeting and day was awesome. I was blessed all day!

Friday
Fantastic Friday
Today was so much fun but I didn't take a single picture. So I decided to post this one that I made up for face book today. (I didn't make up the quote...just put it with the picture) Smiling is Magical! It truly can change you into a better, happier person! Get Your Smile On! ☺
I went to lunch with Mallory and Kathy today! We met at the Olive Garden. Julie Dixon was suppose to meet us too but had a service guy coming to her house that she has been waiting on. That's okay because we set another lunch date for a few weeks. I love chatting with my friends. I love hearing about their lives and being a part of it. I have been blessed with some of the very best friends!
Carla invited Larry and I to dinner at her house. Roger grilled steaks and we also had potatoes, corn and salad. I brought Scotcheroo's because Roger loves them. The meal was so yummy. We got in the hot tub afterwards. It wasn't very hot...only around 90. I like it cool! We visited in the Hot Tub for an hour and then I had to get out because I was itching. After a few minutes the others joined me. We played Five Crowns and Larry won! He was so happy because he seldom wins that game. Carla was not so happy because she usually wins and she lost by a long shot. It was a fun night. We were going to play another game but my hands were itching so bad I needed to get some medicine on them. We hadn't realized but it was 10:30 so it was time to go home.
Larry looked at their travel trailer and will be able to help Roger fix it. I think it's leaking...but not certain.

Food 4 Thought Friday
Food 4 Thought Friday!
A little feast without the calories!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Breakfast ~ When did you last write a hand written letter? I wrote a card just yesterday. I use to write little notes and cards a lot and have slacked off since texting came to be. I am trying to write more cards...that counts right?
Lunch ~ Tell about a collection you have now? I use to collect spoons and rubber stamps but I'm trying to simplify. I guess I collect cards and notes given to me. I have a huge book full and a drawer that needs cleaned out and put in a book. I hope to collect more memory pages from my kids. When I turned 50 I asked the kids to make memory pages and told them that is all I want for now on for my birthday. I don't get one from everyone every year anymore but I sure cherish the ones I have and would love to keep collecting them.
Dinner ~ Are you a planner or a procrastinator? I like to plan. I like to know what I am doing and have it on the calendar. I procrastinate the things that I have to (if I have a lot on my plate already) but prefer doing things when I first know about them if at all possible.
Midnight Snack ~ If you could erase one day in history which one would it be and why? September 11, 2001!!! The thought of that day still makes my tummy turn and I can't help but cry a little. It's so hard for me to believe that people can be so cruel and heartless.
Recipe for the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life, what is it just for the week?) If you want something....go after it! If we wait for things to come to us we most likely will be disappointed. If you want a fun life, create it. If you want a better job, find it. If you want......then change what you have to so you can get it.

Celebrating Ivy
I love celebrating my grands birthdays! I can't believe Ivy is already 11 and growing so tall. Ivy is such a gramma's girl. I know I am one of her favorites! She is my very favorite 11 year old! She has always loved coming to our house and still does. Ivy chose to go to Toys R Us to pick out her gift. She picked out a craft thing...making window clings. She also bought some little tiny beads that grow in water. We had bowls and bottles all over the kitchen as they grew. The little beads were cool and fun to play with when they were fully grown. She had a gallon bag full of them. I always think it's fun to take the grands shopping and to see what they chose. I love watching them look at everything as they try to decide. It just makes my heart happy! It was fun having Kimi go with us.
We stopped at Swigs for cookies and drinks. We made Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner because that is what Ivy wanted. Ivy loves playing games and we did that while she was with us. I slept with Ivy on my big air mattress and Holy Moly this girl is wiggly! We watched Zootopia before going to sleep. Ivy went to sleep early in the show but that's probably because she had watched the show with Zaden at least six times. I hadn't seen it and so I stayed awake. We didn't even start the movie until 10:30 pm.
We played more in the morning and then Ivy and I picked up Sushi and took it to her house to share with her mom.
I sure love my oldest grand. Ivy is so smart and talented and kind and fun! She's a joy to have around!
Kathy was having a Pampered Chef party and so Ivy and I went up there for a bit. They made Hawaiian Haystacks too and so Ivy enjoyed another plate of it. Kathy had a Hawaiian theme and in the center of her tables she had brown sugar that looked like sand with sea shells. I thought it was pretty cute. Pampered Chef has a lot of cool things but I only ordered a pan to go with a lid I ordered a while back that didn't fit any of my pans. ☺

Temple
This month the visiting Teaching message is about Temple Ordinances and Covenants. I love the Temple and the covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father. It's because of those covenants I have been able to get through some hard times. They have been a strength and a protection to me.
I love going to the Temple each week. I love feeling the spirit. I love helping those on the other side of the veil. I know this work is critical. It needs to be done! I am glad that I am at a time in my life I am able to help more. It's a blessing to me to be able to go to the House of the Lord.
I love "Sealing" families together. I especially enjoy being proxy for daughters being sealed to parents. It brings back the wonderful feeling and memories of when I was sealed to my parents.
Today there were a few different last names but I can only remember one of them. It was Lovingood!☺
Lisea and I talked on the way home about how the Gospel is True but how members can mess things up for others because of their opinions and actions. I kind of understand why people choose not to attend regularly. However, when we don't attend and participate we just don't get all the blessings we could be getting. When we are serving others, which is what is asked of us, it benefits us and those we serve. The "spirit" of Christ is felt stronger and more often in our lives as we attend our meetings and do what is asked of us. I guess we need to focus on God's will and purpose and not let others affect us so much. I love feeling the Spirit and even though I feel it daily, I feel it more on Sunday when I am at church. I feel it when we pray together. I feel it when I partake of the sacrament. I feel it on the classes I attend. I feel it when I visit with a friend. For those three hours I am filled! The Gospel is True! God wants us to help Him by doing our part however that may be. Part of doing our part is over looking others errors and forgiving. We should work at being like Jesus and do the things He would do! The ordinances and covenants of the Temple help me do that!
