Stuffing Meatloaf
1pkg Stove Top Stuffing mix, dry
1 cup warm water
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Preheat oven to 350. Spray inside of bundt pan with cooking spray. You can also cook in a cake pan if you want to just make a ring.
Place warm water, onion soupd mix and dry stuffing mix in a bowl. Mix well. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow bread time to absorb water. Add eggs and ground beef. Mix well. Place evenly in the bundt pan to put in cake pan and form into a ring.

Kellie's Birthday Lunch
I absolutely adore Kellie! I'm so glad to have her as a friend. She is so kind and thoughtful! She's fun to hang out with. Today we went to lunch and since neither of us needed to hurry back home for any thing we did a little shopping. First though we ate a Zuppa's.....a favorite of mine. It was delicious as always!
After lunch we went to Ultra because my straightening iron quit working and I really depend on it. We were lucky because the Chi Straighteners were on sale. I also need some new "clippers" not "buzzers". (I call things the wrong thing sometimes) They had a pair that was on sale and seemed to be heavy duty and so I bought them. I also decided to get some more lip gloss since I was scraping the bottle of the one I had. I was really glad that Jennika (my friend) was working because she was a big help with everything. She showed me two different colors of lip gloss and I took both of them. I'm easy to please. Even though Kellie doesn't use a straightener she decided to get one too and try it out.
Next we hit TJ Max and Kellie found a cute shirt. I told Kellie that I hope before I die I will be able to walk into a store and choose a size small shirt and know that it will fit me. I don't like the style of shirts this year and haven't gotten any ones. I keep looking but don't find a thing and so I continue to wear my old ones that I like.
Then we went to See's Candy for a free sample. I seriously didn't know they gave out free samples and if I did know I have been good to forget. Kellie bought us each another piece of chocolate. They were yummy!
We ended our day by going to the Quilted Bear. I don't visit that store as much as I use to since I haven't changed much in my home or need much because it's pretty full. I have been in the mood to add more color to my family room and even looked a month or so ago when I first decided I wanted more color. I found a few cute signs. I came home and put them up and I like the color they add but they need more to go with them because they're not quite right yet. I think I will add a few pillows for some color as well. It will take some time because I can't afford it all right now. (oh how I wish I could)
I had a really good time today with Kellie. I think we need to do that more often. I enjoyed visiting with Kellie and I'm glad that she confided in me some of the things that are happening in her life. There is something about being able to share your true feelings with your friends that makes the friendship stronger. I'm glad we are that kind of friends. (secretly Kellie and I are hoping that are kids will date soon and maybe even like each other)

Bear Lake part 2
I dropped off the grands at their kids club and went to Larry's to pick him up to go back up to Bear Lake. We stopped by the Doctor first so that Larry could have his blood drawn which the Doctor had ordered a few months ago. (Larry's been busy) When we stopped at the shop Brooklyn was there with his latest creation. He wants Larry to make a trade with him....I think NOT! Brooklyn is super nice and brought Larry over a cup that kept his ice all day...Larry liked it so much that he told Brooklyn he needed to get one for me. Larry meant that he would get one for me but Brooklyn brought me one over and just gave it to me. They are super insulated cups that don't get wet and the ice really does stay all day. I love my new cup!
Larry, Kimleighel,Jared and I left and drove through Evanston. Not long after we left Jaydan called us and he too was on his way. He drove separate because he had to work Saturday. We were docked and ready to go in the early afternoon. We found the Taylors at Rendezvous Beach. The had their umbrella's all set up and it looked like a huge party...it was a huge party! I love spending time with the Taylor's and the last few years camping with them has been really fun but I really missed our family this time. Life is busy and I know Trichelle's kids were with their dads, and Justin was gone, and Kevin had a funeral of some dear friends, but I wonder if Braxton knew. Larry told me we had told them all and I shouldn't worry. But...I do worry. I assume that my kids know that they are always invited and I believe I texted them all the dates of when we were doing things. However, the dates of some things change and make it confusing for even me at times. Anyway...we missed our married kids and their families. We had fun though taking out the friends that were there. A few people had never been on a boat and it made us happy to help others have fun. We pulled the water weenie around a lot. Even the tiny girls liked riding it. The youngest one to ride thought it was so nice she fell asleep riding it.☺
I enjoyed chillin on the beach with Kim and whoever else was there. I really like Kim's friends and have become friends with them because of camping. It was nice just watching everything go on around us. There was a lot of playing in the sand. I bet there were at least six kayaks that anyone could take out and so there was something for everyone to do. There was more water behind us that the little kids loved playing in. The water was warm and shallow so the parents didn't need to worry either.
Friday evening the water calmed and a few guys went wake boarding. Karson, Keaton and Jared all had a great time doing it. The water and weather was really good both Friday and Saturday. I didn't notice any of the little kids with sunburns but many of the older kids suffered with burnt feet, shoulders and legs. I have a hard time feeling too sorry for them because they are adults now and need to take care of themselves....I know Kim felt the same way. (silently we snickered)
The sun drains me and sucks out all my energy. I love being on the beach or in the boat but I notice a difference in the evening. I'm drained at the end of the day. It's worth it though and I love boating with my family and friends.

Food 4 Thought
A little feast without the calories!!
Feel free to play along for some yummy fun! Go HEREJOIN IN!!!
Food 4 Thought Friday ~ This week's questions: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Lunch ~ What have you learned about yourself this week that you didn't know before? I don't think I learned anything new about myself. This week I have noticed that my body doesn't respond as quick as my mind thinks it should. Something I have noticed lately not necessarily this week but I am becoming paranoid about so many things. I'm not a good passenger...in a car or boat...I'm so afraid of what the drivers around us are doing or of being in a wreck.
Dinner ~ What has been consuming your thoughts this week? Death. Losing friends and loved ones is hard. I lost a young friend recently and my kids (Kevin and Julie) lost a family that they really loved and were great friends with. I think it's impossible for the human mind to understand the why's.
Midnight Snack ~ What story do your friends tell about you that you wish they’d forget? I can't think of any so they must be forgotten.
Recipe of the Week ~ (instead of your recipe for life what is it just for the week?) Be Happy, Be Kind....you never know when your last day will be or the last day of someone you love!

Bear Lake part one
The kids and I went to Bear Lake on Tuesday. Larry had a place reserved at the KOA campground. Originally we were all going to go with the Taylors for the week but there were some scheduling problems at work and with the Taylors and so just me and the kids went. At first I thought we should just cancel the first of the week and only go for the weekend but then I decided that it would be fun to just take Kimi and Jared. (Larry also thought that) I don't take the time to play games with them at home or to just sit and watch a movie...it seems there are so many distractions at home. So we paid to go away and spend time together. When we arrived at the campground we upgraded to a cabin with a toilet. It was a good choice since Kimi and I both got up at least 4 times the first night to go potty. The cabin was cute and cozy and had air-conditioning. We liked it.
We were playing a game before we left and when I went to check the time on my phone Larry was calling and was already on his way to Logan. We immediately left to meet him. We were meeting at Fredrico's and he got there just a few minutes before us. Zaden was with him and after we ate we let Jared and Zaden play on a big grassy area while we visited. It was fun watching the boys run around laughing and enjoying themselves. I was nervous about driving the canyon in the evening because of the deer but it ended up being okay. We did see some deer but not on the road...close though. I love the drive...I love the mountains. We went back to our cabin and finished our game and put in a movie. It was a fun day.
I know Jared really loved our get away...he kept telling me how fun it was and how much he loved me and Kimleighel. When we were checking out we noticed that my car was leaking water....big drops. I was concerned and wanted to have someone check it out for us. A lady at a close gas station sent us to Laketown where she said there were some mechanics. We went there and the guy told me it was from my air conditioner. That's what I would have thought if the car would have been running longer but I had just started it and it had only been running for about 5 minutes when we noticed the puddle under my car. I was convinced that we were okay. The water was dripping under the passenger seat and not the hood and it was just water. Since we had gone to Laketown we decided to just come home through Evanston. The thought came to me that maybe we were just suppose to come home this way instead of the canyons. Who knows for sure but I think there was a reason we were distracted. It was a nice drive. I don't think it's as pretty but the roads are much better. We arrived home safe and sound, started some wash and will be ready to go again in the morning.
The campground had miniature golf and great playground and pool. We played a few rounds of miniature golf. I just have to say I had the lowest score. haha We watched a few movies in the evening while we were there. (Kimi brought a little dvd player) We all got cozy on my bed and we all quite enjoyed being close to each other. We played games together every day and had a lot of fun.
We went and enjoyed the water....I was going to say beach but there isn't much beach to be found. We were able to find a small area though to put our towels and things. It was fun playing in the water and laying in the sun for awhile. Larry had called and invited us to meet him in Logan for dinner and so we had a light lunch at a new place called Crepes and Coffee. The crepes were yummy. The sun drained me like it always does and I took my time getting cleaned up. The kids went and golfed again and Jared bought Kimi some short/pj's at the gift shop. Celebrating Kellie
I call these gals the Hooper Honey's because they are sweet and fun. I really enjoy getting together with these gals to celebrate our birthdays. Today we celebrated Sweet Kellie's. I remember when we were celebrating "50"...how time flies. Kellie is such a sweetheart and much stronger than she thinks. Her testimony is huge and she is a good example of "Following Christ". Today I heard her briefly say that some people don't think she's nice. I say....some people just don't like nice people and will try to knock them down however they can. I hope Kellie doesn't believe the negative people but rather the people that love her especially Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father loves her and knows her best and I am positive He is very pleased with everything she does and the life she lives. I love my friends and the friendships we share. Friends are such great gifts! Happy Birthday Kellie!
