Taggarts!

It's Friday and so I thought going out for dinner was a great idea.  (did you know that cooking isn't my favorite thing to do?)  We gave the Malone's a call and thank goodness we did.  It is there 30th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow and their AC went out today....they needed to get out!  Matt suggested Taggarts and we liked the idea.  It would take longer to get home and by then the Malone's house shouldn't be so hot!  It was nice visiting with them.  We always have a good time with Matt and Kathy.  We laugh a lot and enjoy our time with them.  We got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the peacocks.  What a fun place to go.  

When we first got to Taggarts and after seeing the dessert display I thought we should get our desserts first.  Yep~ we should have got them first because after dinner there just wasn't room or the desire!  Probably a good thing!  I'm glad the Malone's are spur of the moment people like us.  It was a great date!

Fort Fun....

Today we had some extra fun in our house.  Zaden and Kam came to play.  Zaden is coming again for awhile until Trichelle is officially through working and back to school.  He is so much fun and loves coming and playing with Jared and Kimi.  It's been nice having him again.  He laughs so much and I love hearing that in our home.  Kam got to come play for a little bit while her parents went on a date.  The cousins really do love each other and have such fun together.

It was so hot outside that we talked them into staying in by building a fort for them.  They were happy with that for a while but did talk Kimi into going outside with them.  They crack me up!  They each wanted to wear a helmet to ride their bikes......I'm sure that wasn't hot!

Each one of my cute grands are my favorite!  I love them all so much and just enjoy watching them play and use their imaginations.  They are each so creative and smart and make me smile! :)

Who knew that grands were such blessings?  I had no idea but boy have I found out!  Oh the Joy these "littles" add to life!  So stinkin thankful for them all!

Boating with the YM & YW

One of the funnest activities of the year is the boating activity for the Young Men and Young Women.  They love it and we usually have a pretty good group.  I think they had four boats out there today....so plenty of fun going on!  When I saw all the girls crowded in our boat I did give Larry and call reminding him that there were rules and limits that he probably should follow.  He didn't get a ticket or pulled over so all was well.  I had Zaden and so he even got to go out with the first group of kids.  My grands love boating.  He told me that he even drove with Papa.  Larry is a patient man and enjoys making fun happen and sharing it with others.  I stayed on the beach so I wasn't taking up a seat. (not near as fun)  Zaden and I left after a few hours which was kind of nice.  Boating is one of my most favorite things to do with our family and others.  I am so grateful that we are able to have a boat.

Fisher shares my Birthday!

Fisher Jared Mock was born on July 28, 2012.  What a cute baby he is.  I took the kids to meet him today and it was so much fun visiting with Amity and her kids, Tonya, and Shay and her girls.  I love all these people so much!  I love babies and their "freshness".  They are absolutely incredible!  Little Fisher has light hair and I am hoping his eyes stay blue.  Amity has such pretty blue eyes I think at least one of her kids should too.  All her kids are beautiful with big brown eyes.

It's so much fun for me to watch Tonya's girls as moms.  They do a great job and their kids are so stinkin cute!  I love them all!  I wonder why Tonya and I were the mom's first?  I learn so much from watching our own kids that I am certain I would have been a better mom had they gone first.  They actually help me still to be a better mom right now.  Life is interesting and so great!

Looking at these pictures makes my heart smile so big.  I remember playing dolls with Tonya and now look at what we have......all these beautiful, wonderful kids!  Practicing when we were little paid off!!!

I am so thankful for my dear sista/friend and her beautiful family!  I feel completely loved by each and every one of these wonderful people. What a wonderful day!

Enjoyed a few "little's" today!

We get to watch Zaden again for awhile.  I'm excited about that.  Today we also got to play with cute little Zoee!  I don't believe I will ever tire of loving the little ones!  I think loving them and wanting to play with them is just something born in me.  I have always loved little kids and still find them to be very enjoyable and cute and fun and just wonderful!  Zaden loved playing with Zoee he was really cute with her.  Jared loves little kids too and so very good with them.  I believe Jared is the "key" for the grands loving to come to Gramma's house.  He can make any kid laugh and smile.....he's gifted that way.

I realize I don't take pictures every time I have the grands over but I should.  They are my favorite!  Having my kids and grands over is the best!  I couldn't love anything more!  Zaden has grown a lot this last little while and talks really well.  It's fun listening to him express himself....so cute and innocent.  What a fun day for us all!

From 12 to 52 Yahoo!

I met these two when I was in 7th grade!  We have always been great friends and are now family we choose for ourselves.  What a wonderful thing to have.....such great life long friends.  We grew up together, had kids together, and are now gramma's together.  Time goes by so fast!  Our memories together are many and fun.  It's still a lot of fun making more memories together.  I sure do love Mallory & Kathy.....and I know they love me too. (sounds like a child's testimony)  It's always fun to celebrate our birthdays.  We like to meet at Applebee's since that's kind of middle ground for all of us.  I love getting together with these two....I never tire of them!  We set another lunch date in 2 weeks!  Mallory and I use to meet every Monday up until a few years ago...now we get together every few months. I love my friend Mal and Kathy our other pal.

Birthday Lunch

One of the fun things about my birthday is going to lunch with my friends!  I love going to lunch with my friends.  I love taking them to lunch on their birthdays!  I just love Birthdays and Friends.  Lunch is just a good excuse to visit and enjoy each other.  Today I chose to go to Red Robins.  I love their Whiskey BBQ Chicken Wraps.  I love Crystal and Kellie more!

Kellie and Crystal both build me up and make me want to be better.  I admire and learn so much from each of these wonderful ladies.  I am glad that they want to spend time with me too.  I am very thankful for Crystal and Kellie!
