We crafted today on Davaleen's Birthday. I saw that it was her birthday on Face Book and so I decided I had better take some hat's and horns so we could help her celebrate! I think it was a great surprise to her and I know it made her day just a little bit better. I sure do like Davaleen. She told me that she wasn't sure what to think of me the first time we met but quickly decided to like me. I am sure glad she did. Davaleen told me that I inspire her......that sure made me feel good. It's nice to know I am doing ok and helping others. I wonder though if others know just how much they inspire and help me....maybe I should tell them!
There was new gal there today and I'm sure we made an impression. We'll see next month what kind of impression we made whether she shows up or not! I loved the technique today. We did shaving cream cards. It was easy and so cool. I bought re-inkers so I can do it at home. This would be a great craft for girls camp. We also made coasters which were cute and easy. I actually hosted today with very short notice. I decided to just serve different kinds of popcorn. I found really cute Popcorn Bowls at the Dollar Store too to serve it from. It was easy but I think everyone enjoyed it. It was a fun day as always getting with the girls and laughing and crafting!
For the shaving cream cards you put white foamy shaving cream in container. Then you drop ink into it and swirl with stick or spoon. Then you put glossy card stock (shiny side down) into it. You wipe the cream off and have a really cool design. I loved it! We used purple ink only but could use a few colors at the same time if wanted.

It Never Gets Old!
Today I was headed out the door to go for a walk just as a van pulled into our driveway. I couldn't help but smile when I saw it was a Floral Van with Flowers for me! I get so excited every single time Larry sends me Flowers. I LOVE it! It never gets old and I'm always surprised! I really do believe that I am married to one of the nicest men alive. Larry has been so good to me over the years. Even before I got the flowers today I was thinking of all the wonderful things he has let me have and do. I have truly been spoiled. I like to believe that he has truly been spoiled too. We are a good match and have had a great life so far. I hope we have many, many more years together.

Craving Sushi.....Really?
For months now I have been craving Sushi! That's right ..... SUSHI! Who'd have ever thought? NOT ME! I thought it was funny in fact that I have wanted it so bad. Problem is I don't know of many people that like Sushi enough to go to lunch for it! I knew Trichelle and her family liked it and so today I took advantage of my time with Trichelle. We went to the Mother's Day Boutique at the Fair Grounds together. That is kind of a little tradition of ours. We try to go every year. I really enjoy my time with Trichelle. I don't see her as much these days since she works and goes to school and Zaden goes to daycare. So I was tickled to spend some time with her. She was all for going out for Sushi!
There's a new place close to her house that we tried and we both liked it. They were also fast and that was good since Trichelle needed to go pick up Ivy from school. It worked out great. We got our fill that is for sure. These aren't really the pics I took (I found them on the internet) but they look pretty close. (mine are on my phone and I haven't figured out how to transfer them....I've done it before but this was easier because I can't remember how I've done it)
We got three rolls and brought at least the amount of one whole roll home. They are pretty good as left overs. We ordered the caterpillar roll, a rainbow roll, and a fuji roll. I liked them all but the fuji with the crab was my favorite. Zaden went with us and was pretty darn good. He's a pretty cute little kid! (Like Darn Cute!) I enjoyed my time with Trichelle......in fact I cherish it! Thanks Trichelle for going with your mommy!

Great Day!!!
Holy Moly today was a great day.....I can't smile big enough! I woke to birds chirping outside my window. I went to lunch with Crystal and Kellie. We celebrated Crystal's birthday. I sure do LOVE these ladies...they're just fun. We have more fun planned and I can't wait to do what we planned. I got a few nice texts. I spoke with a friend on the phone because she needed someone to talk to. (I was honored she trusted me) I got to see Trichelle for a few minutes while I took her to the dentist to get her wisdom teeth out. I got to tend Zaden for a few hours. We went to Kimi and Jared's Choir Concert and so did Jaydan and Braxton. I got to sit by Larry and hold his hand for 2 hours. A lady at the concert that I had met in PTA gave me a huge compliment. She said that every time she sees me I get smaller. (I don't think that's true but since I've been a bit depressed lately as far as weight goes I was glad to hear it) Crystal also complimented me about my "size" today. Then visiting and seeing others at the concert was nice. It was a "build me up" kind of day. I don't think there was any negative actions or attitudes. It was totally splendid!

Monday
It was fun
Traditionally the Monday Morning Bowling League would end their Season by going to Wendover. This year there wasn't a Monday bowling league....they joined us on the Thursday League but some of the ladies still put together the little excursion to Wendover. Debbie asked me if I wanted to go with her. Even though Wendover isn't my favorite place and I really don't like gambling or the smokey buildings I said Yes I'd go with her. I like the get away. I also like the ride down on the Fun Bus. We play Bingo and get donuts and drinks. I was actually the first to win a Bingo. I only had 5 numbers but they were in a line so Woo Hoo for me, I got $2.00. I won one more time and got another $2.00. Look at that I am starting out with $4.00 ahead.
By going on the Fun Bus you also get a coupon book. In it there is a coupon for $5.00, a free buffet, and a free drink or smoothie from Star Bucks, and a free drink from the casino (we got Pineapple juice). So really it doesn't cost much. We had a good time playing and visiting. I have to laugh at one of the ladies I bowl with that couldn't believe that Debbie and I would even go....my response to her was are you judging because I sin differently than you? (Thanks to Pres. Uchtdorf) I'm not a gambler and neither is Debbie. We both think of it as playing an arcade game. We have no intentions of winning and just play for fun. It's a nice get away for the day. It's not anywhere I'd choose to go but when a group of ladies are going then ya....I'll go.
I enjoyed the time with Debbie. We don't get alone time with each other and this was nice. We've been friends for a very long time. It's fun remembering back to those earlier days. It's fun having "Old Friends"!

Happy & Proud
Right now in life I am just one Happy Momma! I am really loving the fact that the family is all home and safe and good. I absolutely love my family more than anything! They are all I ever dreamed of. My dreams have come true and I am just happy! I love being a mom! I love every single stage. I really enjoy having my big kids and watching them be responsible and take care of their spouses and kids. It's a nice pay day!
Today Ivy my little grand made me and her papa proud. She wanted to bear her testimony in Fast n Testimony Meeting. She told me that she knew what she wanted to say so I told her she could. What a cutie. She told of her experience with her dad and mommy Martha and Allen. How Martha was expecting a baby and how the baby had died. The family was sad and prayed that they could have a baby. Then they had a family home evening and Daniel taught the family that they needed to do some things for Jesus so that Jesus could help them and answer their prayers. She told how if Jesus just answered their prayer first then they might forget to do the things they needed to do to help Jesus. It was so sweet and very profound for a little 6 year old. She said it all so well and had everyone's attention. These moments are just so wonderful. All the hard work and stress and love and teaching is worth it. Life is just so good right now! I'm lovin it!
