WooHoo it's Tonya's Birthday! Oh my goodness I LOVE this girl! We are like sisters and have been since we were dang little! We've experienced so much together. Tonya and I are the sisters we chose for ourselves. We have always had such a good time together. Oh I love Tonya.
I love going to Weber High on Tonya's Birthday and Surprising her at work. Actually I might surprise her more if I didn't show up on her Birthday. Today she even made herself a Birthday Cake to share with others. Yahoo for her! (she said she got the idea from me.....love that) This day should be celebrated and enjoyed. I am sure glad for this day. I am sure glad for Tonya. I can't even imagine life without my dear friend! I admire her so much. She's a great example to me in so many ways.
Dang I can't help but smile at the memories we have together. From baby dolls to boyfriends. From boyfriends to husbands. From husbands to kids. From kids to grand-kids. Oh the memories are many and wonderful. Life is just so good because this beautiful lady was born!

Advice to Julie
Julie's family had a Bridal Shower "Luau" for her on Saturday. Talk about a fun time and going ALL out! Jen knows how to party! Everything was decorated so bright and cute. It was a lot of fun. One of the things they wanted us to do was bring advice for the Young Couple. So here's the advice Kimi and I gave:
Kimi and Dawn's advice to Julie and Kevin……..
Never grow up…..growing up is over-rated. Have Fun!!!
Always put each other first
Focus on the things you like about each other….over look
the things that bug you….you'll get use to them.
Play together….keep dating…..do for each other
Smile and laugh together…..don't be too serious (we're not
in Kansas anymore ;))
Pray together…..God is and should be your companion too!
Complement each other…everyone likes hearing nice things
Never….Ever…..Give UP!!!!
You will have hard times but remember it is the hard times that bring
you closer together…..the hard times are worth working through.
Always express your love for each other…
Do nice things for the other one….it's the little things
that make or break relationships….
Hold hands……
Keep kissing!
Look for the good…it's always there. What you focus on is what you will see and
find!
Forgive as often as you need to. Let things go!
Visit you families often……WE ALL LOVE YOU!

Friends
I love Laverna and her family. When I was really frustrated one day I was able to go and vent to Laverna. I'm not sure exactly how that happened since we don't talk often.....I'm just glad it did because Laverna is a good listener. She's experienced a lot in her life and can relate with anything I could say. I also know that no matter what I say to Laverna I will not be judged. That's always nice to know. Laverna was one of my first friends when we moved to Hooper.....she will always be my friend.
I remember when Laverna got Keri and Bree. I marveled at what a wonderful lady she was to take on two more babies. What cute babies they were and beautiful young ladies they are now. I love Keri.....she just makes me feel good. On Mother's Day I received a very nice text from this cute girl. I saved it so I could document it somewhere.....this will be the place. Here it is: "Dawn! Happy Mothers Day to a sweet, loving, and loveable woman. Your example and love for life truly inspires and motivates me on a day to day basis! Thank you for letting your light so shine! Sure do love you! :) " How sweet is that? It made my day!
I know I say it all the time but I have been blessed with really great people in my life! These two are a few of them!

White Vinegar
I just had to write about this amazing find for killing weeds! I read about it on the internet and tried it and it works. I put plain white vinegar in a little spray bottle and spray the little weeds in my courtyard. They die and I don't need to pull them. It's fast and easy. I have been going out every few days to spray away the weeds. I am loving this method of weeding.....so much easier on the knees and back. YaHoo for White Vinegar!!!

Hillary loves her Aunt Dawn
Today while I was waiting to see the Eye Doc I received a text from my cute niece Hillary. (Hillary is visiting from California) She said she knew it was short notice but invited me to lunch with her and her mom. I was excited that I was able to go with them. I was excited that Hillary even thought of me. She did last time she came to town too. It made me feel good. Hillary is darling in every way. She is always smiling and positive. She is a great mom to her cute little one, Lyra. My mom also met us for lunch. We went to Rainbow Gardens which has always been a favorite of ours. I really enjoyed spending time with my Sister, Niece & Mom.
