Sleep Over With Jordy
Jordyn got to sleep over for her birthday! She was excited and didn't mind having her family go home without her. She played for awhile and then we turned a movie on for her. She helped me play cards with the family and then it was time to finish the movie and go to bed. Jordy went to sleep really easy and woke up with a smile. She's such a sweetie and it was really fun having her over. I really enjoy the one on one with the grands. I'm not sure how life could be better!

Jordyn's Birthday Party
Julie loves to party! She goes all out for her kids birthdays and other special occasions and they are fun! This year Jordyn's birthday was a Western Birthday. Jordyn had cute chaps and boots, and Kamryn had new boots too. The twins were dressed in their Wyoming shirts that had horses on them. There were a lot of fun activities for the kids and everyone had a great time. They served hot dogs and watermelon for dinner.
They had pony rides and wagon rides behind a four wheeler. It was so much fun for everyone.
I'm glad I got to sit and hold my grands and just watch. I like watching. I loved doing fun things for my kids and I love seeing my kids do fun things for their kids. Kevin made the cake again this year but I didn't get a picture of it or really see it for that matter. I have some pretty great kids.
Jail that was fun for pictures.
The yard toys were a hit. The kids all made ponies out of Styrofoam noodles. Macie had a good time riding her Styrofoam pony around They had pony rides and wagon rides behind a four wheeler. It was so much fun for everyone.

Friday
Lunch with the Hooper Honey's
Today my cute friends and I met at the Blue Lemon for my birthday lunch. We were going to go next Friday but Kari couldn't make it because her daughter is getting married and they had a bridal shower that day and so we planned it for today. Kari still wasn't able to make it because of wedding things. Crystal couldn't come either because she is out of town but those of us that show up had a great time! I always have a great time with these cute friends. Tammy brought the funny props, Kellie gave me my cute hat and I brought chocolate and clackers for everyone. Tammy is the clacker queen...she could even do two at the same time. I made them work once when I wasn't thinking about it. We were sitting by the door and as one couple was leaving the guy asked if it was my birthday. He knew it had to be my birthday or that I was a princess by my party hat. He asked me how old I was and then said "Oh, you look much older!" haha We laughed as his wife exited. He told us that a 92 year old man had told his father that once and so now he says it to others. I wasn't offended and thought it was funny. A few people were celebrating their birthdays today at the Blue Lemon and I think their birthdays are really today. One cute older lady by us was celebrating hers. Her daughter was trying to take a selfie and I asked them if they would like us to take their picture for them. I even let her wear my cute party hat and gave her a candy bar and her own set of clackers. It was a lot of fun!

Jordyn's Birthday Gift
Yesterday I went bowling and then Carla took me to Sams to get some chocolate for the month. ☺ I saw some really cute dolls and decided to get one for Jordyn. There were four to choose from and I couldn't decide. I took and picture and sent it to Kimi and she liked a totally different one than me. They were all really cute really so it wouldn't matter which one we chose. I thought it might be fun for Jordyn to go with me to pick which one she liked best. When I showed her the picture of all of the dolls she liked the one I did but when we went she chose the cute blond doll with the kitty. She loved it and we had a worker help us get it out of the box before leaving the store. When I took Jordyn home she went right in and got the doll some diapers and a bottle. I think her other grandma gave her those things for her birthday. It was fun taking her shopping and I think we will have a sleepover in a few days.

Jordyn's Birthday Dinner
Jordyn went to the Zoo to celebrate her birthday. I think she likes the zoo and all the animals unless they get to close to her. She got to help feed the giraffes and was a little hesitant I guess. On the way home from the zoo they stopped at Golden Corral in Layton for dinner. Julie text me earlier and invited us if we wanted to join them. Kimi and I picked up gramps and went. I wasn't hungry and so I got a "free" glass of water. ☺ I love when our kids invite us to things and like to make it if at all possible. It was fun watching Jordy enjoy her dinner and tell a little about the zoo.
I got to feed Brynlie and snuggle with her for awhile. The twins are two months old today and are growing so good. They are over 8 lbs now and doing really well. I am glad I was able to go and be our little birthday girl.

Jordyn's 2
Cute little Jordyn is two years old today. I know I say it all the time but those two years went by pretty quickly. This little one is so sweet and cute. She loves animals and baby dolls. When she comes to play at our house she always gets the babies and will cover them up and play with them for hours. She does that same thing at her house. Jordy is an easy little one. She's very pleasant and pretty content. She makes this gramma's heart smile so big. I'm so thankful for Jordyn. Our family is so blessed to have her in it! What a cutie patootie!

Celebrating Kathy!
Kathy's birthday was right on Father's Day this year and so I think she felt a little neglected. I felt like she needed to have a little spoiling and so Carla and I planned a lunch date with her. I invited Jodi and since she had already been this way twice this week we went to her. I figured Kathy wouldn't care where we went anyway. We met at Maddox. We have fun together.
I think we all need spoiling every now and then and for sure on our Birthdays....or at least close to our birthdays. I think Kathy enjoyed her special day...I know I did.
I took my leftovers to Larry. He was doing the blood drive for our Stake and so Carla and I decided to donate. I kind of "encouraged" Carla to come to lunch since she wasn't feeling up to it and she kind of "encouraged" me to donate my blood. It's crazy how you get an idea of something stuck in your brain and carry it with you throughout your life. I feared "shots and needles" as a child and still do a little. So weird, since I have had kids and know that they are really not that big of a deal. I am going to work on deleting that fear from my mind. It's stupid and giving blood isn't scary and it doesn't hurt.
